To qualify financially, you generally need to meet SoonerCare Medicaid rules. Oklahoma uses the special income rule available to waiver applicants. ADvantage also offers a self-direction option called Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services and Supports (CD-PASS). It lets participants recruit, hire, train, and supervise their own workers for personal care tasks, such as help with instrumental activities of daily living. CD-PASS applies to personal care services. It is not established that environmental modifications can be self-directed the same way, so plan on your case manager coordinating any home modification work.
How it stacks with federal programs#
